E.UK, Europe's leading wholesale distributor of home entertainment products, announces the appointment of Richard Darwent as Commercial Finance Controller with immediate effect.

Richard replaces Graham Barnetson, who was promoted to Finance Director of E.UK at the end of 2004. As part of the role, Richard will assume responsibility for financial analysis and planning as well as management of E.UK's Commercial Finance team.

Prior to joining E.UK, Richard spent 5 years at Telewest Broadband in a number of financial and operational roles; most recently as Head of Operational Development, responsible for overseeing new product launches, financial strategy and leading a mobile workforce technology project for 2,500 engineers.

Previously, Richard spent two and a half years with Price Waterhouse Coopers as a management consultant specialising in the media and technology industries.
