Morrisons appoints E.UK to supply Home Entertainment Product

Morrisons has appointed E.UK in a three-year deal to supply and distribute chart music, DVD and gaming products to a combination of over 400 Morrisons and Safeway stores across the UK from June 2005.

As the UK's leading wholesale distributor of home entertainment products, E.UK will supply Morrisons - the country's fourth largest supermarket chain - with chart CDs, DVDs and Games. Morrisons attracts more than 10 million shoppers each week and this increased emphasis on home entertainment product underlines its commitment to innovating its product range in order to enhance the customer experience.

Andrew Pleasance, Home and Leisure Director at Morrisons, comments :

The agreement does not affect Morrisons relationship with Music Box Leisure, which will continue to supply non chart and promotional entertainment products.
