Entertainment UK's (EUK's) philosophy is to attract and retain staff by offering a competitive package that rewards and encourages high performance from its people throughout the business.

Bonus Scheme
EUK's staff work hard to ensure the company's continued success. As such, the business is committed to returning part of its profits to all staff members via a challenging yet achievable bonus scheme. The scheme aims to reward EUK employees when the business meets its annual targets and when staff have excelled in delivering their personal objectives during the course of the company's financial year.
Pensions
EUK recognise the importance of planning for the future and helps its staff to do likewise through its pension arrangements.
EUK operate a Group Personal Pension Plan, which is a money purchase scheme. New employees are able to join this arrangement after completing six months of continuous service with the Company.
The Company also operates a stakeholder pension plan. This is also a money purchase scheme which employees are entitled to join from their first day of employment with EUK.
Throughout employment with the Company, up to age 70, employees are covered for a lump sum death benefit equal to two times annual pensionable salary.
Sharesave
Sharesave is a simple way to buy Woolworths Group shares, using a special tax-free savings account. EUK has provided access to a Sharesave scheme for a number of years and this is currently offerred annually to anyone with 6 months continuous service or more.
Sabbaticals
As part of our commitment to being an 'employer of choice', EUK employees who have been with the company for four years or more are entitled to apply for sabbatical leave of up to six months.
The time is provided to enable employees to undertake refreshing or motivational activities, that they may not normally get the chance to experience. Reasons for taking sabbatical leave could include personal growth such as learning a new language, carrying out voluntary service, taking part in amateur sport or devoting time to family-related activities.
Although sabbatical leave is unpaid, many employee benefits continue throughout the period absent from the business e.g. pension contributions, Woolworths Group discount card.
Parental Provisions
Many of EUK's staff are either parents or become parents for the first time while working for the business. EUK recognise that the early years of a child's life are crucial and so have developed a number of enhanced policies to give parents as much practical support as possible.
Employee Assistance Programme
To help its employees to deal with the trials and tribulations of everyday life, EUK is committed to ensuring that its staff have access to all the support they need - both at work and at home.
EUK staff and their dependants can call upon the services of its Employee Assistance Programme, a confidential advisory service which helps people to resolve their problems, be they work related or of a personal nature.
The programme is operated for EUK by an independent external organisation, which provides access to a confidential helpline 24-hours a day, 365-days a year. It offers specialist information and counselling services and enables staff to obtain information or assistance on a range of subjects such as financial, legal and family issues.
Discount Scheme
As part of the Woolworths Group plc, EUK staff are entitled to receive a Woolworths discount card after 6 months of employment.
As well as giving money off of most purchases in Woolworths' stores, the group has also negotiated discounts with a range of other organisations including Comet, Legoland, Vision Express, BSM, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Megabowl, Odeon and Cineworld cinemas, National Express, Thomas Cook and APH airport parking.
In summary, the benefits package offered by EUK is aimed at recruiting and retaining staff by offering a highly competitive rewards package and acknowledging and rewarding performance at all levels.
